The very early Turkish rugs are considered the most collectible in today's market since they were made at a time that not many were produced and also for their very primitive designs. This rug is considered an semi-antique as it was made in the 1920s. This rug is 100-percent wool. These Turkish rugs were produced by village weavers in the historic region of Anatolia. The designs of the Anatolian rugs include allover patterns, small repetitive patterns, and medallions. Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, the size may vary from as advertised by 3-4 inches. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your kilim looking new for years to come.
